So if you are willing to commit your voice to the internet then you had better get some good tools. A very popular choice for recording and editing is Audacity. Its available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux/Unix, versions 1.2.4 and 1.3.0 (beta) which were released on November 28, 2005. The software is covered by the GNU General Public License (GPL) It's fairly simple to install the program but once you have it ready to go you will find it quiet a powerfull program to use. It features many effects such as equalisation, amply and filtering. Just what you need to make sure you sound is perfect. You can convert your recordings to many different format that includes MP3, ideal for people to download off a blog or website and play at their leisure.
